NBC News and MSNBC will sponsor a networking reception to follow the panel, “Influencing the Influencers.” The panel, on Thursday, April 19 at 4:15pm, explores how the mainstream media uses social media as news tips, by developing a network of influencers and bloggers. Panelists will reveal how influencers have emerged as contributors, hosts, and reporters in mainstream news. Immediately following the panel, attendees will be able to put some of those tips and ideas right to work in an informal networking environment allowing them to share ideas, information, contacts, and story ideas.
